Github Copilot is incredible. It’s made me more productive on my personal projects. But it’s not perfect, and sometimes can be wrong in spectacularly subtle ways.

A locally hosted Github Copilot would be the chef’s kiss. The following setup runs decently well: Ollama + Codellama + Continuedev. While the quality of suggestions is not as good as Github Copilot (for now), it’s locally hosted and quite snappy on my M2 Macbook with MPS.
